The ECCK Christmas Dinner took place at the Nuri Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul on Nov. 20, bringing together more than 150 guests for an evening filled with festive spirit.

The venue’s holiday atmosphere was elevated by a special Christmas tree installation by Mercedes-Benz Korea, designed as a modern take on the traditional bokjumoni.

The programme opened with a live Classical Performance featuring Oboe, Violin, and Piano by Dulwich. Following the performance, ECCK Chair Philippe van Hoof delivered the opening remarks.

H.E. Ugo Astuto, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Korea, offered congratulatory remarks, recognising the efforts of ECCK member companies in strengthening the robust and mutually beneficial partnership between Europe and Korea.

The evening continued with a Christmas dinner, preceded by a toast proposed by ECCK Vice-Chairperson Mathias Vaitl, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Korea. During the seated meal, guests enjoyed an additional live String Quartet Performance of Christmas carols by Dulwich, further enriching the festive atmosphere.

A lively lucky draw took place after the main course. Despite the event being fully booked two weeks in advance, participation remained exceptionally high, with nearly all 400 raffle tickets sold. Prizes were generously sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, LEGO, L’Oréal, Conrad Seoul, Grand Hyatt Seoul, Ambassador Seoul, Four Seasons Hotel Seoul and Zaspero.

Proceeds from the raffle, supported through contributions from ECCK member companies, will be donated to the welfare organisation Anna’s House. The evening concluded with a standing dessert buffet, offering guests more opportunities to network. The delightful chocolates prepared by Ferrero Rocher Korea added a sweet touch to the networking session. As guests made their way home, door gifts prepared by Galderma and HARIBO were also presented.
