Uzbek Ambassador to Korea Alisher Abdusalomov visited the Gyeongsan Dongui Korean Medicine Village at Daegu Haany University and experienced 15 Korean medicine wellness programs on Oct. 28.

Gyeongsan Dongui Korean Medicine Village, operated by Daegu Haany University, invited Uzbek Ambassador Alisher Abdusalomov and embassy officials on October 28 to a Korean medicine wellness experience program.

This visit was designed to showcase the excellent management practices of Gyeongsan Dongui Korean Medicine Village, a "cultural tourism landmark combining education, history, nature, and Korean medicine" in Gyeongsan City and operated as Daegu Haany University's "Glocal 30 Korean Medicine Wellness NOMAD Creative Village."

The event was attended by Daegu Haany University Vice President for Business Administration Jeong Seung-hwa, Professor Kim Sang-ji, and Administrative Affairs Director Cho Bong-soo, who discussed ways to build a global partnership between the university and Uzbekistan.

Choi Yong-gu, the head of the village, welcomed Ambassador Alisher and his delegation and personally guided them through the village's key programs. He introduced 15 experience programs, including natural oil detox therapy, herbal medicine foot baths, phytoncide oxygen inhalation chambers, and a rooftop family Hanbang tour zone, sharing a healing tourism model that combines Korean medicine and wellness.

Meanwhile, Gyeongsan Dongui Korean Medicine Village has been designated as a "2025 Gyeongju APEC Special Experience Center" and is expanding its diverse wellness programs with budgetary support from Gyeongsan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.

Key programs include the Traditional Korean Medicine Wellness Road Tour (Rooftop Mural), Singing Bowl Meditation, Phytoncide Oxygen Inhalation Chamber (O₂ Breathing Chamber), Millennium Detox Therapy (Natural Oil Therapy), and the Lucky7 Stamp Tour.
