Doosan Enerbility's Czech subsidiary, Doosan Skoda Power, officially sponsored the 'Prague Spring International Music Festival'.

The Prague Spring International Music Festival opened in Prague on May 12, the anniversary of Bedřich Smetana, the Czech Republic's national composer. The festival opened with a performance of Smetana's signature work, “My Fatherland,” a collection of symphonic poems, at Smetana Hall.

The Prague Spring International Music Festival was founded in 1946 to commemorate the first anniversary of the end of World War II and is now in its 80th year. It is scheduled to be held across Prague until June 3.

Doosan Enerbility Chairman Park Gee-won met with Czech President Petr Pavel at a reception before the opening performance. Vice Chairman Chung Yeon-in and Head of Nuclear Energy BG Kim Jong-doo also attended the event to network with Czech government officials.

Doosan Enerbility is participating in the new nuclear power plant project in Dukovany, Czech Republic, as part of Team Korea, along with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power.

Doosan Enerbility is supplying major nuclear power cycle components, including reactors and steam generators. Doosan Skoda Power will manufacture the steam turbines in the Czech Republic.
