In particular, the category that garnered the most attention at this ceremony was the ‘Leading AI Innovation’ sector, which is at the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
K-AI Works establishes a ‘new standard’ for global AI infrastructure.
The ‘Global Leadership Grand Prize in the Leading AI Innovation Sector,’ the highlight of this ceremony, was awarded to Chairman Lee Seung-won of K-AI Works.
Chairman Lee was highly recognized for his contributions to elevating the global competitiveness of Korea's AI ecosystem to a new height by leading the implementation of AI-based unmanned agent offices, the design of national-scale AI data centers, and hardware technology innovation.
As a blockchain expert and a Ph.D. in AI convergence, Chairman Lee has gone beyond the mere adoption of technology to apply practical intelligent solutions across various industries.
In particular, the improvements to high-density GPU server cooling methods, specialized MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) technology, and AI data center electromagnetic wave control technology currently being pursued by K-AI Works are establishing themselves as new standards for sustainable AI infrastructure operations.
Chairman Lee Seung-Won spoke on “Realizing an Intelligent Society Through the Convergence of Art and Technology”
In his acceptance speech, Chairman Lee stated, “This event was a very meaningful occasion where leaders from art, technology, and various industries met together,” and added, “K-AI Works will continue to pursue innovation that transcends the boundaries between software and hardware.”
Then he said, “We are focusing on technological innovation to dramatically improve the cooling methods of core hardware, such as GPUs, to maximize the efficiency of AI data centers. We will take the lead in realizing a more efficient and sustainable intelligent society through differentiated MRO technology.”
Chairman Lee then said, “As part of our AI infrastructure development education program, we will establish a School of AI Convergence at the Whitestone University Korea Campus to contribute to fostering domestic AI professionals.”
Partnership synergy presents an innovation model for AI aviation services
At the award presentation ceremony, CEO Yang Jae-il of Air-Bizet, which built an AI aviation platform based on Chairman Lee Seung-won’s patented technology, also attracted attention by jointly receiving the ‘Global Leadership Award in Leading AI Innovation.’
This platform, which combines Chairman Lee Seung-won’s core technology with CEO Yang Jae-il’s VVIP membership service, is regarded as a prime example of a high-value-added business model created when AI technology is integrated with real-world industries.
Chairman Lee Chang-woo, who organized the event, said, “This event was a meaningful occasion that presented a direction for future growth as a global platform where art, industry, and technology converge.” Then he added, “We will continue to build an AI ecosystem and expand international exchanges together with innovative companies like K-AI Works.”
With this award, K-AI Works has further solidified its leadership in the domestic and international AI infrastructure markets. Furthermore, the AI agent and national AI data center roadmap presented by Chairman Lee Seung-won are expected to establish themselves as key milestones in the global market.
